With one colorful exception, last week was a bit of a week all the way around. However, the weekend was pretty much apocalyptic.

I had to turn my heater on a few minutes ago because, per the directions on the wall plaster, the ambient temperature must be above 50°F/10°C to use it. I'd like it to have time to dry and set overnight, so now y'all have me over here while I'm waiting for the temp to come up ( Read more... )

I don't expect to be around much OL for the rest of this week. I'm having a rough go between the latest meds adjustment, crappy brain chemistry, and grief. At this point, no news from me is as-good-as-it-gets news from me. I just have to get through this week. That's all I can do right now.

I go back for my next session with Evil Bob tomorrow. I showed him the place on my left leg where it had been crushed in the car accident, lo, these years ago. He ran his fingers over it (which was enough to make me thrash) and gave me a completely grossed-out look in response to what he could feel under the skin. My mom has had a pretty bad breakdown. The breakdown itself is not in any way unexpected, although the nature of it certainly was. She's been having more and more out-of-character outbursts for the last few months, a deterioration which directly correlated to Dad's decline.
